Pride Health is hiring a Registered Dietitian to support our client’s medical facility Weatherford, TX.

Job Title : Registered Dietitian

Location : Weatherford, TX

Shift : (5x8 Day Shifts)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks with possible extension

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Job Description :

The Clinical Dietitian collaborates as a key member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients of all ages and acuity levels.
Using the Nutrition Care Process, this role is responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing individualized care plans, educating patients and families, and supporting optimal clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities :

Integrate the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Code of Ethics into all areas of practice.

Screen and assess patients in accordance with the Division Screening and Assessment Policy.

Evaluate patient nutritional needs based on age, acuity, developmental stage, and disease processes.

Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition care plans.

Provide tailored nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.

Monitor, evaluate, and document the effectiveness and outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions.

Serve as a preceptor and mentor to dietetic interns as assigned.

Participate in department and hospital committees, performance improvement initiatives, and research projects.

Function as a clinical nutrition resource to all interdisciplinary team members.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics (required)

Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program (required)

1–2 years of clinical hospital nutrition experience preferred

Licensure & Certification Requirements

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) preferred; or must pass the Registration Examination within 3 months of hire

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Dietitian License within 6 months of hire

Must obtain 75 CEUs every 5 years per CDR portfolio requirements

Ongoing employment is contingent upon maintaining active registration and licensure
