Supply Chain / Logistics Specialist
We are seeking a meticulous Supply Chain / Logistics Specialist to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes and demonstrate strong analytical skills to support the team's operations.
Responsibilities :
- Process and manage accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Code and enter invoices into the system while adhering to company procedures.
- Perform three-way matching to verify invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow.
- Utilize Great Plains Accounting system or similar platforms for financial operations.
- Generate and analyze reports using Excel to support decision-making processes.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries.
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager and assist with team coordination.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements :
Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.Proficiency in coding invoices and managing financial systems.Familiarity with Great Plains Accounting or equivalent software.Strong knowledge of three-way matching processes.Advanced skills in Excel, including data analysis and reporting.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Effective communication skills for working with vendors and team members.Ability to adapt to hybrid work schedules, including remote and in-office work.
