Job descriptionBoard Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry OR Active CA medical license Required DEA & CSR Required ACLS & BLS Required COVID-19 vaccine + booster (medical / religious exemptions only) Required Experience in psychopharmacology, psychotherapies, adolescent development, family systems, and de-escalation techniques Required Multidisciplinary behavioral health team Collaborative treatment planning with families and staff No APP supervision required
Job Opportunity : Psychiatrist Child & Adolescent (Locums)
Location : San Francisco, California
Start Date : November 17, 2025 ongoing
Schedule : Day, night, and weekend coverage; 6 hours onsite rounding (starting 8 : 00 AM) followed by on-call until 8 : 00 AM next day; weekend call coverage 1 2 weekends / month
Setting : Acute Care Hospital Psychiatry / Behavioral Health
Assignment Overview
- Patient census : 6 12 patients / day
- Inpatient psychiatry with adolescent population focus
- Scheduled + call coverage required
- Observed facility holidays
- EMR : Cerner
Candidate Requirements
BC in General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship Required
