Job description

Under the direct training and supervision of our Records Administrator, the Records Clerks will be

instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of client records. This position involves

performing a wide variety of record-keeping, creating, maintaining, and destroying client files in

both electronic and paper form, including extensive use of our document management and

database software.

  • Maintain physical and electronic client files (file transfers, document naming, file archiving).
  • Accurately input and update data within the firm's document management system (DMS).
  • Processing new and closed client files and preparing them for storage or destruction in

compliance with firm policy.

  • Assisting with file organization, scanning, and indexing legal documents.
  • Providing support to attorneys and staff regarding file retrieval and circulation.
  • Assisting the Records Administrator with special projects as needed.
  • Ability to lift a storage box full of files (weighing 20 lbs. or more) is required.
  • Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range : $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Qualifications and Skills

    Required

  • Experience : A minimum of two (2) years of recent professional office experience, preferably
  • in a legal or other professional services environment.

  • Technical Skills : Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
