Warehouse Associate

Aerotek, on behalf of its client, is seeking a Warehouse Associate. You'll be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing freight, and ensuring smooth warehouse flow. Must be okay with working nights 0300-1130. Must be okay with weekend work. Pay is $23 / hr. Must have SIDA Badge Compliant IDs in hand.

Overview : Join a fast-paced logistics team supporting air cargo operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing freight, and ensuring smooth warehouse flow. This role involves handling lightweight packages and working with specialized equipment in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Unpack air freight shipments and reassemble them into organized pallet stacks.
  • Use pallet jacks and assist with forklift operations to move goods within the facility.
  • Enter Unit Load Devices (ULDs) to retrieve packages and scan them using handheld devices.
  • Consolidate smaller boxes into larger containers following specific loading protocols.
  • Remove cargo from ULDs by detaching straps and unloading various package types.
  • Deliver freight to designated dock areas for outbound transportation.

Core Skills & Experience :

  • Prior experience in warehouse logistics, packaging, or freight handling.
  • Skilled in using pallet jacks, forklifts, and barcode scanners.
  • Understanding of air cargo procedures and general warehouse practices.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks such as stacking, sorting, and moving materials.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Familiarity with skids, packaging tools, and scanning equipment.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a SIDA badge (valid documentation required, such as a U.S. passport or foreign passport with I-94).
  • Steel-toe boots are mandatory.
  • Ramp handling experience is a strong plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SeaTac, WA.

    Pay and Benefits :

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
