Job Title : Sr. Java Software Engineer

Location : Columbus, OH (Onsite)

Job Type : W2 Contract / 6 Months

Note : The client is looking only for GC / USC

Overview :

We’re building an onshore development team to standardize authentication across more than 15 enterprise applications. This role focuses on creating secure, scalable API solutions using Spring Boot , Apigee , and OAuth / OpenID Connect that integrate with our enterprise identity platform (Ping Federate). You’ll work closely with Cybersecurity, API platform, and application teams to ensure a unified login approach across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deploy secure APIs and services using Java Spring Boot .
• Implement API gateways and integrations using Apigee .
• Apply OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect standards to authentication workflows.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and platform teams to align with enterprise identity standards.
• Support and guide application teams transitioning to the standardized authentication framework.
• Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and mentoring junior developers.
