Experienced HVAC Commercial Sales Representative

N.E.T.R., located in North Andover, MA, is a privately-owned business with a dedication to superior service. Thousands of homeowners count on us for their HVAC needs. We are looking for an energetic, dynamic Commercial Sales / Project Manager who is skilled at sales. Experience in the Commercial HVAC Industry is required. A highly confident salesperson with B2B sales experience with heating, cooling, and ventilation product knowledge, that has a desire to win, is what we want.

What do you need to be successful in this position?

  • Self-motivation
  • 3 or more years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired.
  • 3 or more years of commercial HVAC industry experience or a technical back ground of sorts is preferred
  • Excellent one-on-one presentation skills.
  • Assertive and results-oriented with a need to succeed.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude on life.
  • Hold customer service as a top priority.
  • Good aptitude for basic math necessary for doing calculations related to the sales process
  • Conduct business based on honesty and integrity.
  • Sales opportunities come to us through a generous advertising budget, repeat customers, and your own prospecting efforts. Your job is to meet the customer in the field, make recommendations based on customer's needs or wants and close the sale.
  • Being a high school graduate / having a GED and a valid driver's license are both requirements.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Prospecting for new customers via phone and interactively through tip groups, networking, cross-selling, referrals, and canvassing for large potential customers in your assigned territory.
  • Presenting commercial HVAC services and products to potential customers through in-person presentations and electronic communications.
  • Site visits, new customer visits and existing customer visits to review existing HVAC or refrigeration equipment and make recommendations or suggestions on new equipment that could save the customer money
  • Recommending Commercial Service contracts with NETR, you have the potential to sell the service contract or turn the contract over to the service team
  • As noted above commissions, spiffs and or residual commissions for a new account signed by you is within your grasp
  • Project Management of NETR's existing sold jobs through its commercial team not necessarily sold by you personally and Project - Management of Jobs sold by you, includes coordination of equipment, materials needed and scheduling with Commercial department
  • Following up with customers after service is performed to ensure satisfaction and developing additional prospects.
  • Working closely with HVAC Engineers to ensure installations are correct.
  • Continually building product knowledge and refining sales techniques.

    Job Types : Full-time, Commission, residual commission, and bonuses

    Salary : $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually

    Sales Bonus / Commission Structure (below) + Company Vehicle + Phone + Tablet

    New Commercial Account Revenue Commission :

  • You will receive a 3% commission on all revenue generated from any new commercial account for as long as you keep that new account, maintain customer relations, assist in any customer service required.
  • Commercial service contracts sold are included in this commercial account Revenue Commission.
  • New Proposals or New work that is above and beyond service. i.e. new project

  • You will receive an accelerated commission on all new projects on a sliding scale from the lowest of 3% to the highest of 9% for all jobs based on the gross margin of the job
