Must have pleted Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Aurora, IL, is seeking a qualified Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials to provide support during a leave assignment. This full-time, onsite contract position is ideal for a professional experienced in behavior intervention and support within educational settings.

Key Qualifications :

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist in K-12 schools
  • Familiarity with designing and implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills to monitor student progress
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Location :

  • Aurora, IL (onsite position)
  • Duration & Schedule :

  • Contract role covering an FMLA leave
  • Mid-October through the end of January
  • Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
  • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention strategies
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students with behavioral challenges
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
  • Train staff on behavior support techniques and strategies
  • Promote positive behavioral outes to enhance the learning environment
