Project Manager – Protection Services (Remote)

📍 Location : Remote – Candidates must reside in one of the 15 approved states : AZ, FL, GA, ID, IA, KY, MI, NE, NM, NY (outside greater-NYC), OH, TX, UT, WA (outside greater-Seattle), WI

💼 Duration : 6+ months (long-term contract)

🕑 Schedule : Standard business hours, flexibility required across Eastern & Pacific time zones

💲 Pay Rate : $65.00 / hr

🏢 Work Setting : Fully Remote (IT equipment provided – dual monitors & docking station)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Protection Services Department at

  • Healthcare. This role will lead a large-scale project spanning HR, Security, Legal, and Compliance, establishing controls to combat security risks. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, cross-functional coordination, and executive reporting skills.

You will be responsible for keeping initiatives on track, organizing meetings across departments, and producing key updates for senior leadership. This is a highly collaborative role requiring excellent communication, organization, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of projects throughout the lifecycle : scope, schedule, resources, costs, risks, and quality.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, tasks, and deadlines; revise as needed.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workgroups across HR, Security, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Facilitate and document meetings, including logistics, agendas, and minutes.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and communications.
  • Serve as liaison for department on enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Identify risk areas and implement mitigation / contingency strategies.
  • Support internal process improvement and workflow development.
  • Qualifications

    Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5–7 years of formal project management experience.
  • 5–7 years of systems implementation experience.
  • Strong project management skills (scope, scheduling, risk, resource planning).
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating large, complex, multi-department initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Preferred

  • PMP certification and / or Agile Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience in healthcare, compliance, or risk-related projects.
  • Background working with cross-functional teams across HR, Security, Legal, and Compliance.
