About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Washington State Radiologic Technologist License required unless ARRT (MR) is achieved through the ARRT Primary Pathway

Certifications : ARRT certification required. Current healthcare provider BLS Certification. ARRT MRI Certification preferred.

Must-Have : Experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast, and Breast Biopsy MRI encouraged. IV skills required.

Description :

Client auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax, which can be re-added.

Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.

The American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification does not meet the current requirements.

MRI technologists must have ARRT certification in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) and acquire a Washington state license if they do so.

A future change may require MRI technologists to obtain a Washington State license, but this is not implemented yet.

Radiology / Aides assist MRI Technologists.

Radiologists are in-house.

Common types of imaging studies performed include Brain, Neck, Spine, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Breast, Cardiac, Prostate, and MSK.

There is an average of 28 scans / studies performed per day.

The department utilizes Epic and Sectra PACS systems.

Two scanners are available in the main facility, along with three outpatient clinics.

Floating and covering other areas may be required depending on operational needs.

Participation in a holiday and standby rotation is necessary.

Personal scrubs are required as hospital scrubs are only provided to OR staff.

Cancellation policy allows for termination of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
