About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Construction Tax practice, which is a key part of the largest construction-focused accounting and advisory platform in the nation. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating proactive client contact, expanding the business practice, and coaching staff on business development strategies. This role requires a leader who can cultivate new clients, increase services to existing clients, and is viewed as a trusted business partner. The Managing Director will also have direct profit responsibility for the specialty practice, be involved in ongoing planning, marketing, and business development, and ensure that the team meets budgeted goals. Quality control standards, a positive team environment, and a culture of client service and leadership are also essential aspects of the role. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in public accounting or a related field, including 10 years of supervisory experience, is required. The candidate must have an active CPA or equivalent certification, the ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in relevant technology, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of business integrity, client service, and leadership are also necessary. The role may involve travel based on client and business needs, and the candidate should be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
