Description :
The HR and Compliance Coordinator provides support to the Chief of Finance and HR (CFHR). Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and maintaining employee records. In addition to providing Human Resources day-to-day operations support, this position plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization adheres to government contracts compliance requirements and internal policies. This position involves working closely with the program and operations teams to monitor compliance. The HR and Compliance Coordinator will also assist with internal compliance audits and managing compliance-related issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings and coordinating interviews
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience
- Help manage job offers, background checks, and employment contracts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job postings on job boards and internal systems
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire documentation, arranging training, and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Assist in open enrollment periods, ensuring employees receive necessary information about benefits options
- Assist with tracking employee leave, vacation days, and other absences
Compliance
Coordinate and track employees’ compliance with annual requirements, including, but not limited to : FBI, MPD, and NSO Background reports, tox screens, TB tests, CPR certification, and trainingAssist with tracking and filing contract deliverablesAssist with completing contract close-out documentsAssist in the preparation of compliance-related documentation for regulatory reportingAssist with internal compliance auditsPrepare monthly reports regarding complianceManage contract records. Maintain accurate and organized records related to compliance activitiesEnsure the confidentiality and security of sensitive compliance documentationTrack compliance issues and ensure timely resolutionSupport the development, implementation, and communication of compliance policies and proceduresCoordinate and assist in compliance training for staff and ensure that staff are updated on changes in compliance-related regulationsAssist in the preparation for external auditsProvide support to implement corrective actions for non-compliance issuesOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelor's degree. Preferred : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR and compliance, auditing, or a related field
