REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

Minimum Years of Experience : 2 Year Experience Minimum Required

Traveler Experience : Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes

Skills : Telemetry AND PCU / DOU / IClient / StepdowN experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line / care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience

Certs : ACLS

Skills : Charge experience

Certs : NIH

JOB DETAILS : Ratios : 1 : 6-7

Shift : 12Hour NIGHTS; 18 : 45 - 07 : 15

Float Requirement : YES REQUIRED AS NEEDED; potential to float EVERY SHIFT.

Weekend Requirement : 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)

PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc). Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication) : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE : Self, Per the Unit Needs

UNIT ORIENTATION : 24 hours

SCRUBS : Navy

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)
