STATUS : Flex Full Time (28-40 hours / week)

Laboratory Support Technician salary range : $18.04 / hr. – 26.71 / hr.

Medical Lab Technician salary range : $21.48 / hr – $31.19 / hr – eligible for up to $10,000 sign on bonus!

Medical Laboratory Scientist salary range : $26.97 – $35.51 / hr – eligible for up to $15,000 sign on bonus!

Title & salary will be determined based on education and experience, and the salary shown reflects the Lab Support Tech role.

In this role, you will engage in the accurate performance of lab testing to diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients that leads to our quality patient care outcomes with opportunity to –

• Process specimens for analysis according to established protocols.
• Ensure testing accuracy and precision by meeting established protocols and timelines.
• Identify critical or abnormal results and take immediate action according to predetermined guidelines.
• Troubleshoot problems related to instrumentation, methodology, specimens, or supplies.
• Participate in test development and evaluate new methodologies, equipment, and techniques.
• Perform and document quality control measures to ensure consistent standards.
• Report any incidents or issues to supervisors or pathologists promptly.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing minor repairs when necessary.
• Enter patient demographic and test data into the information management system.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new employees and students, promoting a collaborative work environment.

Laboratory Support Technician

High School diploma or equivalent, AND at least 2yrs experience as a Specimen Processor (or equivalent) required in a clinical lab,

Medical Lab Technician

Associate’s degree in a laboratory science with certification (or eligible new graduate) from an accredited institution as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Medical Laboratory Scientist

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college / university AND successful completion of an accredited Medical Lab Scientist program

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances :

Medical Technologist MT(ASCP)
