As the Assistant Chief Medical Officer, you will oversee and train primary care providers (PCPs) at our center, dedicated to enhancing clinical quality, efficiency, and satisfaction for both clinicians and patients. While you will have accountability for clinical outcomes, you will also provide direct patient care depending on your team's size and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver patient care for acute and chronic illnesses, particularly in older adults.
- Take full responsibility for patient outcomes, consulting with specialists as necessary.
- Collaborate with hospitalists for patient care during hospital stays.
- Manage comprehensive patient assessments, treatment plans, and care coordination.
- Lead a dedicated care team while supporting patients who cannot visit the office.
- Facilitate weekly Super Huddles and Transforming Care Meetings.
- Engage actively in patient recruitment and mentor other providers.
- Work closely with Center Operations Director to improve financial performance and increase center membership.
- Perform other duties as needed by management.
Required Skills and Experience :
MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.Active medical license in your state of employment.At least 1 year of clinical experience in relevant settings; previous experience with ChenMed is a plus.Completion of ChenMed training programs as part of your development plan.Board certification in your specialty is preferred; eligibility is required.Current DEA number for controlled substances.BLS certification from a recognized organization within the first 90 days.Compensation : $231,876 - $331,251
