Job descriptionWork in a short-term acute care hospital on the X-Ray Tech unit Day shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Block scheduling is required with no weekend or on-call requirement Assignment is 13 weeks in length Epic EMR is used and experience is required Floating may be required between nearby affiliated facilities as needed First-time travelers are welcome to apply Travelers must be willing to float to sister facilities if required Scrub attire may be any color; specialty areas may provide required scrubs Assignment at a large, teaching hospital environment Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Up to 6 days of requested time off may be auto-approved; more will require client approval and may delay onboarding Completion of required training modules pre-start and annually is necessary Current Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable Minimum of 1 year X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory Must provide two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years Must have a personal vehicle for assignment travel Former permanent staff must have a 3-month gap before returning as a traveler Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Social Security card, driver’s license, and required health documentation must be provided for consideration High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
