RN - Manager - Integrated Cardiology Services - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description : The RN Integrated Manager Cardiovascular Services shares 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the management and operation of the non-invasive cardiology, diagnostic imaging RNs, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and the cardiac nurse navigators over both the Walnut Creek and Concord Medical Centers. Supervises staff, including hiring, coaching, counseling, and performance appraisals. Tracks and analyzes financial indicators budget, capital, staffing levels, supply costs, productivity and quality outcomes and addresses opportunities for improvement utilizing process improvement strategies. Collaborates with Executive Leadership, Executive Directors, Service Line Directors, Financial Directors, Departmental Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators, Staff and Interdisciplinary Team with integration between both campuses to standardize, update and / or maintain policies and procedures to ensure consistent compliance. Promotes compliance with internal standards and regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Participates in the annual operational planning process. Executes priorities to ensure implementation of operation plan within the work unit or units. Promotes staff accountability and empowerment through formal and informal processes. Accountable for appropriate consistent staffing and scheduling. Role models collaboration and collegiality cross interdisciplinary teams including physicians. Promotes excellence in customer service.

Education :

Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing - Required

Bachelor's DegreeAccredited School of Nursing- Required

Master's DegreeAccredited School of Nursing- Preferred

EXPERIENCE :

2 years Nursing - Leadership as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Manager - Required

3 years Progressive leadership positions in acute care, cardiology, or procedural setting - Preferred

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSURES :

RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required and

BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationRequired and

ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required

Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center Required within 2 years of hireand Must be included in the list of allowed certifications by ANCC for Magnet demographics

SKILLS :

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Demonstrated proficiency in software application, including MS Office (Work, Outlook Mail, and Excel). Other applications may be necessary.

Work Shift : Exempt Salaried MGR (United States of America)

Pay Range :

$185,082.00 - $277,623.00Salary

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated / relevant experience and / or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note : Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word exempt on it.
