Job Title :  Grower Accountant Lead

Summary

The Grower Accountant Lead serves as the subject matter expert in grower accounting for all regions. This role combines responsibilities as an advanced individual contributor and a mentor, providing training on grower accounting calculations, ledger postings, settlements, and other essential accounting functions. The position supports process improvements, enhances operational accuracy, reduces manual entries, and collaborates with the Grower Accounting Manager to streamline activities.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience (2 additional years of relevant work may replace educational requirements).
• 4+ years of accounting experience, with expertise in the agriculture industry.
• Advanced understanding of GAAP accounting principles and cost accounting practices.
• Strong proficiency with Financial ERP software (e.g., Famous) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of international accounting standards and practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including discretion in handling sensitive, confidential information.
• Ability to meet deadlines with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven capability to lead team initiatives, optimize workflows, and prioritize tasks effectively in both independent and team environments.
