Lock Field Technician
The purpose of this position is to install, test, repair, and rekey mechanical and electronic locking and door opening and alignment equipment-including safes-in residential, commercial and industrial environments and to provide excellent customer service to our clients. The expectation for this position is that the technician will advance through training to achieve competency in areas that require it in a developing manner to achieve the highest level of proficiency and expertise.
Starting pay ranges from $15-$30 based on experience- also there is a monthly Incentive program of up to 6% of your annual pay!

Here’s what you’ll need :
Valid license and submit to pre-employment background check and drug test.Must be able to obtain specified licenses / certifications to perform work in the security industry according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the State in which the branch operates.High School Graduate or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.Must be able to travel, as needed.Must have mathematical skills including ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume along with ability toapply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Must have knowledge of master key systems, pinning lock cylinders, cutting keys, electronic and mechanical locking hardware and safe locksMust possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service and Accountability.Here’s what you’ll be doing :
Install, service and repair lock and door equipment, including mechanical and electronic door locking / securing hardware, open / closing equipment, anti-vandalism hardware and door alignment hardwareRekey lock cylinders and cut keysInstall, service and repair electronic safe locksProgram alarm systems via programmer or keypad.Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the specific equipment works.Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department on a daily basis.Communicate with clients, co-workers and scheduler / dispatcherAll other reasonable duties as assigned by the Installation Supervisor specific to the operation of daily business functions.Essential Functions to be performed with or without a reasonable accommodations
