MUST :

2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technician - Orthopedics

Minimum of one or two years of clinical experience preferred

ARRT required

C-ARM Experience required

DUTIES :

Prepare patients for radiology procedures

Operate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians

Use image-Gently equipped X-Ray, which reduces the amount of radiation used on children

Review specific procedure orders to determine materials / supplies that will be needed

Set up and stocks procedure rooms and trays with needed

Document patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the physician's review

Sterilize and package surgical instruments

Assist with inventory, ordering of supplies and re-stocking of supplies

Administer medications specifically directed by the physician and performing accurate vital sign measurements and documentation
