Position Summary
The Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) Technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, recording and analyzing of results gathered through quality control inspection procedures, and to ensure that production or manufacturing processes and products created meet the quality specifications set forth by customer standards
Essential Functions

Use of various types of measuring equipment
Perform regular quality assessments on incoming material
Perform regular first article inspections on production material
Measure and record product dimensions and compare to final product specifications
Document nonconformities within IMSXpress and notify the QA / QC Supervisor of product defects that deviate from specification
Assist in quality assurance data entry
Assist in electronic and physical filing of Objective Quality Evidence
Assist in post-production traveler review and filing
Support the QA / QC Supervisor with supplier onboarding documentation review and filing
Support the QA / QC Supervisor with training documentation review and filing
Obey all safety rules, use caution in work activities, and continuously practice safe behaviors and immediately report unsafe conditions / behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision.
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
Communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specification to understand the requirements of products and services
Time Management Skills
Strong attention to detail
Basic Mathematical Skills
Basic knowledge of and ability to use a computer
Preferred
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Prior Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience
Prior experience with ISO 9001 QMS
