About the Job: As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a Capco team working with clients in the energy and financial services industries. You will be responsible for analysis, design and consulting support, as well as developing an understanding of our client's strategic direction, issues and project goals. You will be the liaison between business and technical users, and work to ensure requirements are accurately gathered and translated.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Develop and evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications to identify gaps between the current state and future state
• Create business requirement documents (BRD's)
• Document and explain problems and work to resolve technical defects while ensuring technical compatibility and end-user satisfaction
• Analyze, develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectiveness
• Assist in conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summaries
• Produce high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables (proposals, customer presentations, consulting reports) to effectively communicate project findings

What You'll Bring with You:

• 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
• Experience working for a management and/or technology consulting firm highly desired
• System implementation experience nice to have
• Ability to determine business objectives by reviewing business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
• Ability to research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
• Experience working with project stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Ability to review data requirements and map to system fields
• Ability to monitor and communicate project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
