Job Summary :

Oversees day to day operations of the department while performing escalated or complex respiratory care duties. Assists the Director with regulatory compliance. Responsible for the clinical outcomes and patient / physician satisfaction with the department services. Provides oversight of scheduling, hiring, counseling and growth of the respiratory care staff. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Job Requirements :

Education and Work Experience :

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare / medical related field : Required
• Master's Degree : Preferred
• Five years' clinical experience in an acute care setting : Required
• One year's leadership experience : Required
