JOB SUMMARY :

The Project Engineer is responsible for performing engineering assignments with clear and specific objectives to support the on-time development and delivery of components and services to D&G customers within budget. The Project Engineer is responsible for transferring product assembly and test knowledge from D&G to the customers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in the manufacturing office environment at the Main Plant located in Westbrook, Maine. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally, this role uses standard production equipment such as power tools and other mechanic hand tools. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain stationary at a desk, work on a computer with frequent interruptions; handle or feel small components. The employee frequently positions self to reach for objects, maintain and operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of computer keyboard, move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, and to communicate to exchange information. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
