A&P Mechanic - Various Shifts

JOB SUMMARY :

To perform licensed A&P Mechanic work, including repairs, maintenance, overhaul, modifications, and troubleshooting, on Textron Aviation aircraft at the 26L575-Sacramento.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet, turboprop, and piston multi-engine aircraft models involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer. Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components on all assigned aircraft.

Checks, corrects, or replaces a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, turbocharges, and optional equipment installations.

EDUCATION :

In lieu of A&P license must have DD214 form to be reviewed and eligible for company-sponsored technical certification and future license achievement. Must have hours of On-the-Job training (MOS / NEC / AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by FSDO
