Starting Pay Rate : $19.10 2nd Shift Differential : $1.50 Exempt / Non-Exempt : Non-Exempt Employment Type : Full TimeDescription : At Bama, the Shipping and Receiving Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist is expected to understand and perform a minimum of 2 warehouse job functions and tasks. This position would be directly responsible for ensuring a high-quality safe product; while minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices. The Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for working in multiple positions which could be at any Bama facility.

Duties :

• Understand Shipping / Receiving and warehouse processes and possess the ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed correctly for area of responsibility.
• Assist in Troubleshooting failures and identify corrective actions.
• Must actively participate in other plant initiatives (i.e., safety programs, quality audits, productivity) with the responsibility for self and others.
• Understand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly.
• Be responsible for GMP's of self and others in work area.
• Understand Manufacturing guidelines for food safety, food security, and sanitation.
• Responsible for daily housekeeping of the warehouse
