Paint line 3rd shift $16.50 / hr, Clare, MI

Are you someone who is responsible for the appropriate application and quality of paint to all painted parts and understands the paint line process from start to finish? Do you thrive in a production environment, supporting efficiency, quality, and safety in daily operations? Then come check this place out and make a change.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to read a tape measure and have knowledge of blueprint reading.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.

Ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of situations which occur in the daily assembly process.

Agility of the upper and lower body extremities, and capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Skills :

Reading work orders or prints and receiving a sequence of painting from the Team Leader.

Removing rust, BB’s and any imperfections from surfaces to prepare surfaces for painting.

Maintaining proper concentration of water, cleaning solutions, and temperature of wash tanks.

Assuring proper corrosion retardation, adhesion, and paint durability.

Hanging product on the line with proper hooks, eyelets and spacing to enhance the electrostatic process and assure safe and proper travel.

Applying powder coat paint with the NPE-CC8 electrostatic power unit, while maintaining atomizing flow rate, fluidizing and kinetic voltage for efficient powder coating.

Recording all labor and downtime, documenting information pertaining to each work order and routing.

Helping maintain all company safety regulations for a clean, accident free and healthy work environment.

Conferring with the team leader or crew leader on any problems regarding safety, quality, production, or inventory issues.

As a Paint line 3rd shift $16.50 / hr, not only will you be responsible for the appropriate application and quality of paint and understanding the paint line process, but you'll also perform a variety of production duties to support efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing.
