DevOps Engineer

AnaVation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, test, certify, operate, and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure tools. In this role, you will support the primary Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team for multiple enterprise tools, resolve interoperability issues, perform patching and upgrades, and ensure the reliability, security, and robustness of the infrastructure that underpins a mission-critical ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:•Design, deploy, test, certify, and operate DevSecOps infrastructure tools.•Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues across operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.•Deploy and configure services using infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) providers.•Configure and manage Linux-based servers to support dynamic web applications.•Debug and support cluster-based computing architecture.•Install, configure, and maintain open-source monitoring and observability tools.•Partner with development and security teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines align with DevSecOps best practices.•Use scripting and programming (, Bash, Python) to automate deployments and improve system reliability.•Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.•Support a multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. This position is on-site with our customer in Chantilly, VA.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
• Experience with SAFe Agile framework.
• Strong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements.
• Demonstrated experience implementing DevSecOps practices in secure government environments.
• Experience with data processing, automation, and ETL workflow orchestration.
• Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with GitLab or similar version control and DevOps platforms.
• Understanding of network architecture and security best practices in classified environments.
• This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
