Job description

A longstanding premier Food manufacturing company is seeking a PLC Technician to join their growing team! This is an amazing opportunity to work with a team that is developing groundbreaking products to support healthier living. 2nd shift available.

Pay : $35-$37 DOE

Schedule :

  • 2nd shift : M-F 2 : 30p-11p with OT as needed

Type of Job : Temp to Hire

Location : McDonough, GA

Responsibilities :

  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of PLC-controlled production and packaging equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new automation equipment and system upgrades.
  • Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on automation components, including sensors, switches, drives, and control panels.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Document all work including programming changes, equipment downtime, parts usage, and maintenance logs.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or electrical engineering
  • 3+ years of industrial PLC experience
  • Background as a multi-crafted mechanic preferred
