Global Transplant Specialist II

A company is looking for a Global Transplant Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate the collection and submission of global transplant claims in accordance with various transplant contracts

Monitor and escalate accounts for underpayment and handle denied cases by routing to appropriate teams

Collaborate with financial counseling and authorization teams to ensure timely and accurate payment by payers

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or a healthcare environment

Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 diagnosis coding, and third-party reimbursement is a plus

Ability to work in multiple databases for management and reporting

Two years' experience in patient accounting preferred
