Job descriptionThis is an onsite position in Jamestown NY. Medical Dental Vision Insurance Options. 401k options with a company contribution after 1 year of service. About Weber Knapp Company has designed developed and manufactured mechanical hardware and kinematic motion control devices for over 100 years. Our team of design engineers has over 85 years of combined experience working for Weber Knapp Company. We have custom engineered and manufactured products for a vast number of applications that range from multi-link concealed refrigerator hinges to counterbalance hinges on medical centrifuges.
Job Summary :
Developing tools and processes for products manufactured assembled and packaged on site.
Function of Position :
- Design tools and fixtures
- Manage new tool design through build and production launch
- Document set up and production procedures for tooling and processes
- Provide technical production support
- Troubleshoot equipment tooling fixtures and / or processes that have been identified as non-conforming
- Develop product protection plans and packaging
