Finishing Carpenter / Door Installers

Minute Men Staffing is recruiting for experienced Carpenters / Door Installers, this is a Direct Hire position on first shift. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM with travel, overnight stays, and overtime required as needed; position requires full-time work primarily taking place on active jobsites. PPE is required (high-visibility shirts / vest, safety glasses, gloves and hard hats provided). Exposure to noise and varying weather conditions is to be expected. Candidates for the finished carpenter / door installer position will have 2-5 years carpentry and / or door and hardware installation experience. Candidates must possess a current driver’s license and be willing to travel throughout the state of Kentucky, including overtime and overnight stays as required. Effective communication skills and time management are a must. High school diploma or equivalent with related vocational training are preferred but not required.

This position is responsible for traveling to jobsites to install commercial construction materials. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, installation of finish carpentry, millwork, standing and running trim, casework, cabinets, countertops, hollow metal doors, wood doors, finish hardware, signage, visual display boards, toilet compartments, wall protection, toilet accessories, fire extinguishers and cabinets, laboratory casework and equipment, etc. Finish carpenter / door installers will read blueprints, take measurements, calculate required materials, assemble, and install raw materials and / or prefabricated items, possess a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
