Physical Therapist Assistant – SNF

Location : Redding, CT

Schedule : Full-time

Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Overview :

We’re hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing facility team in Redding, CT . This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, improve function, and enhance their quality of life through individualized, compassionate care.

Responsibilities :

Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist

Assist in implementing care plans and tracking patient progress

Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and nursing staff to support holistic care

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and state guidelines

Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety to promote independence

Qualifications :

Active Connecticut PTA license

Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred

Strong clinical skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
