Job Description

Prime Response Inc (PRI) is seeking a  Business Development Associate to support PRI’s  Business Development department. Will be responsible for providing support and expertise for a growth-focused small business in the government contracting industry.   Will provide support in all areas of the Business Development process. Will support the Business Development Manager and team on a daily basis relative to the identification, qualification, and capture of new business opportunities.

    • Requirements

  • Experience with the business development cycle including prospecting, qualification, capture management, and proposal support.
  • Knowledge and experience with government contracting industry such as SCA, FAR, DFAR, and government acquisition guidelines and terminology.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the use of on-line government opportunity sites, acquisition forecasts, government data, and competitive intelligence.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Must be a good communicator and be able to take complex concepts and present them in a coherent, compelling, and logical manner.
  • Must be internally motivated and able / willing to work with minimal direct supervision and guidance.
  • Must be team oriented and goal focused.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be capable of leading small teams.

    • Candidate Preferences / Differentiators

  • Prior government and / or military background preferable.
  • Knowledge of contract vehicles and e.g., GSA MAS, OASIS+, Seaport, STARS III, etc.
  • Leverageable recent relationships.
  • 2-3+ years of verifiable recent experience in business development activities is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of AI tools in the business development process.
