About the Role
The Mental Health Therapist working in the Community and Residential CFTSS program is responsible for providing an array of direct clinical services for youth across both community-based and residential programs and settings. In the Community CFTSS program, settings include home, school, and community / office settings. In the Residential CFTSS programs, the setting is program-based office space. Overall responsibilities include screening, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy services through the Children and Family Treatment and Supports Services (CFTSS) program. The community-based program is provided under OMH auspices, while the residential programs are under OCFS. The Mental Health Therapist is expected to provide both in-person and virtual services.

Work Environment :
This position will require travel to various agency locations, public school sites, and families’ homes in various locations in the five boroughs of New York City.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position. You must be available for flexible hours including evenings and possible weekends, shift hours vary depending on the needs of the child and family. Work hours options are 11pm-7pm or 12pm-8pm. This position is based at a designated Rising Ground location but will require travel to other agency and non-agency locations for service provision and meetings.
