Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Consultant – Hybrid (California)

Duration : 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Rate : Up to $110 / hr

Client : Salesforce Partner

Location : San Francisco, CA - Hybrid - (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Our client — a Salesforce Partner based in California — is seeking an experienced Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Consultant to join their delivery team on a hybrid basis . This 6-month contract-to-hire role offers the chance to lead innovative FSL implementations and optimize field operations for enterprise clients across the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) solutions, aligning with customer business goals and service delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into scalable Salesforce configurations, and manage project timelines.
  • Configure and optimize Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, and Experience Cloud , including Flows, Work Orders, Service Appointments, Scheduling Policies, and Mobile Solutions .
  • Ensure seamless integration between FSL and other Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Revenue, Marketing, etc.) as well as external systems through APIs or middleware.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and provide post-deployment support to drive user adoption and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience , with 3+ years specializing in Field Service Lightning (FSL) implementations.
  • Proven track record working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud in a consulting or Salesforce Partner environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Builder, Data Modeling, Lightning Components, and API integrations .
  • Strong understanding of FSL scheduling optimization, work order management, and mobile workforce enablement .
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications preferred — especially Field Service Consultant , Advanced Administrator , or Application Architect .
