• Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Prefabricator in Guntersville , Alabama . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various fabrication tools, including plasma tables, grinders, and press brakes, and must have forklift experience. Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience with overhead cranes, both in working on them and operating them. This role is essential to ensuring that parts are prepared and finished to specification, with a focus on safety and precision in a fast-paced shop environment.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Operate and maintain a plasma table to cut and shape metal components.
• Use grinders to polish and finish metal parts to the required specifications.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and completed parts around the shop.
• Utilize press brakes for bending and forming metal as required by project specifications.
• Work with and operate overhead cranes, including troubleshooting and maintaining them as needed.
• Follow all company safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which will be provided by the company.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and cared for.
• Qualifications :
• Must be very familiar with a basic fabrication shop environment and its standard operating procedures.
• Must have forklift certification experience.
• Experience operating a plasma table, grinders, press brakes, and similar shop tools is required.
• Hands-on experience with overhead cranes, both in terms of operating and working on them, is essential.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all parts meet quality and safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
