Summary
Our preschool is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and developmentally‑attuned Preschool Teacher who believes in creating a joyful, safe, and engaging environment for young children. Position Overview
The Preschool Teacher supports children ages 3–5 through play‑based learning, intentional instruction, and nurturing routines. This role blends creativity, structure, and responsive caregiving to promote social‑emotional growth, early literacy, and independence.
Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm, inclusive, and predictable classroom environment
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Support children through daily routines including meals, toileting, and transitions
- Model positive guidance and social-emotional coaching
- Maintain licensing-compliant documentation, observations, and communication with families
- Collaborate with teaching partners to ensure a safe, engaging learning space
Requirements
Experience working with preschool-age children in a licensed early childhood setting
Understanding of child development and positive guidance practicesStrong communication skills with families and colleaguesCPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Early childhood education units preferred.Benefits
