This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description : Responsibilities :
Analyzes industry trends and procurement performance to support the software category; reports results of analyses to procurement manager.
Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues.
Works on problems of moderately complex scope.
Draft, review, and negotiate software agreements and contracts, including NDA's, SOW's, and software licenses.
Identifies challenging contract risk areas and advises senior level business leaders.
Collaborates with internal and external partners including legal, marketing, product teams, services, and finance to meet procurement objectives.
Manage contract adherence and review for opportunities to renegotiate for improved terms.
Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
Meets with senior members to learn about business priorities.
Learns to use supply chain and financial modeling tools.
Engages with partners projects.
Performs tasks as assigned and applies experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.
Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
Education and Experience Required :
Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Typically 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain function including key topics of IP, rebate structures, MDF, and licensing.
Significant experience negotiating legal terms contained in complex technology contracts.
Knowledge and Skills :
Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
Strong project management skills.
Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and basic supply chain modeling skills.
Good knowledge and use of procurement tools and applications.
Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
Good teamwork skills.
Mastery in English and local language.
