About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : GA or Compact license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS

Must-Have :

• Experience with cardiac implant closure devices
• Experience with cardiac stent placement
• Experience with diagnostic catheterizations
• Experience with IABP placement / removal
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias
• Experience with left heart catheterizations
• Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Experience with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
• Experience with rotablader atherectomy
• Proficient in scrub procedures
• Ability to set up equipment
• Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Knowledge of sterile technique

Description :

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum one weekend day per week.

One weekend every five weeks.

CALL REQUIREMENTS :

Four weekdays and one weekend every six weeks.

RTO : Maximum seven days.

HOLIDAY REQUIREMENTS :

If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work.

If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays.

If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include :

FULL compliance is required to start on time.

If not compliant in time, there will be a push back of two weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

PATIENT POPULATION :

Adults and geriatrics.

Cath Lab Tech experience required.

Compliance documentation deadline is the Tuesday prior to the start.

References must be supervisory and from management level or above.

Maximum seven days RTO required with submission.

Holiday RTO policy applies to major holidays as detailed above.

Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.

Travelers must have completed one successful assignment outside of previous facilities before rebooking.
