Introduction

Looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to join our Engineering department.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare engineering data for new business; Facelift; Engineering change instructions or requests for quotes.
  • Analyse production drawings and prepare Production Engineering Data for implementation into production.
  • Prepare implementation of new models, face-lifts & ECI projects from concept phase to production start-up.
  • Investigate localization, VA / VE, and standardisation.
  • Conduct design reviews with the Design Team and Yazaki.
  • Identify training requirements for new equipment and processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Essential).
  • B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Desirable).
  • Project Management Diploma (Advantageous).
  • 2 to 3 years Product Development experience in the automotive environment (Essential).
  • Experience in a Wire harness environment (Desirable).
  • 2 years working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e. FMEA, control plans, APQP) (Advantageous).
