Raleigh Concrete, a locally owned and rapidly growing ready-mix producer, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Raleigh and Durham plants. As we continue to grow and expand — including plans for a new facility in the Smithfield/Clayton area — we’re seeking a motivated operations leader to help take our business and our people to the next level.

What You’ll Do

As the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee daily plant operations across our Raleigh and Durham locations, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained at the highest standards. You’ll lead multiple teams, streamline communication, and focus on improving both performance and morale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of production, dispatch, fleet coordination, and plant operations.
• Coach and support Plant Managers, QC, and Yard teams to ensure operational consistency and accountability.
• Drive measurable improvements in utilization, driver retention, and productivity (yards per day).
• Reinforce a customer-first culture across the organization.
• Conduct regular job site visits and maintain strong working relationships with clients and partners.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven ready-mix or concrete industry operations experience (required).
• Skilled in managing multi-site teams and building strong communication channels.
• Organized, decisive, and confident in setting clear goals and expectations.
• DOT and ACI certifications preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Hands-on leader who’s comfortable working alongside the team when needed.
• Motivational, reliable, and action-oriented — you do what you say you’ll do.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000+ (flexible for the right candidate)
• Company Vehicle: Pickup truck provided with fuel card
