Exciting Opportunity for Cardiologist near Fort Davis, AL Join a Dynamic Cardiovascular Group

A vibrant cardiovascular group near Fort Davis, AL, is currently seeking an Interventional or General Cardiologist to join their team of dedicated providers. This single-specialty group operates from a new, state-of-the-art facility located on the hospital campus, offering exceptional care to patients residing in this picturesque lakeside city.

Key Position Details :

  • Employment Status : UAB employee with a voluntary faculty appointment, without teaching or research obligations.
  • Current Schedule : Two days in the cath lab, two days in the clinic, with administrative time on Fridays.
  • Weekend Call : Interventional weekend call rotation of 1 : 3.
  • Patient Volume : Expected to see 25 patients per day initially, with opportunities to build volume over time.
  • Visa Candidates : Unfortunately, no visa candidates can be accepted for this position.
  • Clinical Responsibilities : Clinic-based practice with hospital rounds; consultation and care coordination with the Russell Medical HM program.
  • Current Clinic Staff : Comprising three CRNPs, one MD, and additional clinical and administrative support personnel.
  • Office Tests Available : Including Echo, Vascular, Nuclear, Holter, and Pacemaker monitoring.
  • Required Skill Sets : Proficiency in a range of cardiovascular procedures, including caths, angioplasty, stress tests, VAD, PCI, among others.
