Authorization Representative – Outpatient & Surgery Center

What You’ll Do

Serve as the primary contact for patient relations in person and by phone.

Check patients in / out, collect co-pays, reconcile payments, and manage registrations.

Verify demographics and insurance information in CS-Link / Epic.

Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.

Handle patient and provider correspondence and explain policies or procedures.

Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace following department guidelines.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 1 year experience in outpatient clinics or surgery centers.

Familiarity with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans.

Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

CS-Link / Epic experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Strong interpersonal, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills.

Professionalism and adherence to HIPAA / privacy standards.
