Licensed Vocational Nurse - Specialty Neurology Clinic

Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, where you will provide essential patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. Your role will involve performing various lab procedures as needed, adhering to established standards and practices to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities :

• Welcome patients by obtaining vital signs, weights, and collecting specimens, including phlebotomy, as directed by the physician.
• Assist providers in examining and treating patients, ensuring efficient patient flow through the clinic.
• Handle incoming calls, record messages, and assist with patient-related inquiries.
• Facilitate scheduling of tests, obtaining results, and assisting with pre-certifications.
• Document all pertinent patient information accurately and promptly.
• Support providers with medication refills and ensure proper administration of medications and immunizations as prescribed.
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, properly cleaning equipment as per policies, and ordering necessary supplies.
• Perform routine clerical duties, including locating patient charts, filing, and completing forms.
• Participate in required meetings and in-service training, and be flexible in taking on additional tasks as needed.

Requirements :

Work Schedule : 7AM - 5PM
