Job Title : Security Officer

Job Summary : Security Officers are responsible for patrolling and inspecting Lake Winnepesaukah's property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, employee / guest injury, illegal activity and / or inappropriate guest / employee activity in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Security Officers will also assist in directing vehicles in parking areas, directing traffic, and assisting guests wherever possible.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide verbal instructions to guests and / or employees in assigned areas of responsibility including patrol areas, parking areas, and security posts.
• Monitors and responds to inappropriate guest and / or employee behavior, enforces rules and restrictions, regulates guest / employee actions, enforces state and local laws, and requests assistance from the Security Supervisor as needed.
• Patrol the entire park and additional property looking for any problems, assisting guests in finding or to find lost individuals, and acting as a Security Officer by preventing both property destruction and theft.
• Assist guests in parking areas by directing traffic on and off the park and directing cars where to park. In addition, Security Officers will assist employees with some vehicle problems.
• Assist Human Resources with escorting terminated employees / disgruntled guests off the premises.
• Monitor the entrance and exit of all employees, visitors, and vendors as well as direct them appropriately.
• Escort all Front Gate Cashiers, Food Associates, and Game Associates as they pick up and drop off money from various locations on the park.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Assist First Aid and Safety as needed.
• Remain focused on the job while dealing with interruptions from guests and / or other employee contact.
