Overview
EY-Parthenon’s unique combination of strategy, transactions and corporate finance delivers real‑world value. As a Director on the Financial Diligence – Sell Side team, you’ll support large, high‑profile divestiture projects across industry sectors, advising CEOs, Boards, Private Equity and Governments.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Execute transformational deals and solve complex challenges.
- Integrate into complex client teams and cultivate relationships.
- Develop and mentor staff and senior team members.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Experience handling divestitures, including carve‑outs, spins, and full‑enterprise sales for private investors and corporate buyers.Ability to analyze financial and operational results through accounting records and management interviews.Experience assisting clients with SEC filings and carve‑out audited financial statements.Keep up‑to‑date on industry trends, technologies, and cash‑flow seasonality.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and proficiency with Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.To qualify for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of related experience; OR graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related experience.Significant public accounting experience.Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into insights.Strong prioritization, adaptability, and negotiation / influencing skills.Reside in or be within commutable distance to your office location.Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.Proven ability to identify business and technical issues, distill insights, and deliver strategic recommendations.Ideally, you will have
A record of excellence in audit and / or M&A transaction roles.Active CPA certification.Experience in a large professional services organization.Established networking skills in a relevant industry.Knowledge of leveraging firm‑approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.What We Look For
