ER RN Job Details Location : Chewelah, WA 99109 (Washington healthcare jobs) Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital, Emergency Department Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 - End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required Charting System : Epic Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Scrub Color : Any color Parking : Free onsite parking Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1930 - $2070 Emergency Room RN Qualifications Active WA or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (2 years preferred) Previous travel nursing experience required Proficiency with Epic charting system Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP (preferred) Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a rural emergency department References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years ER RN Responsibilities Provide compassionate, efficient emergency care to patients of all ages : adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics Perform triage, assessment, and management of acute medical and trauma conditions Administer emergency medications and interventions, including IVs, intubation, chest tube management, and procedural sedation Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias; manage ventilated patients and those with multisystem organ dysfunction Respond to psychiatric emergencies, drug overdoses, and behavioral health crises Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Social Services Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic Participate in self-scheduling and maintain flexibility to meet unit needs Discover the charm of Chewelah, WA and enjoy vibrant local community life, beautiful parks, and outdoor adventures in the Pacific Northwest.
