About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

We're looking for a talented presales individual with deep expertise in cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premise networking to join our global sales engineering specialist team.

As a Sales Engineering Specialist focused on Networking, you will work closely with our sales and field sales engineering teams to accelerate our presales motion by establishing secure connectivity to databases and related services for replication. You will be responsible for providing consultative network architecture reviews and presales implementation and troubleshooting of supported connectivity methods. In addition, you will be tasked with working cross-functionally with our SRE and Product teams to ensure comprehensive support for networking mechanisms and services.

This is a full time, hybrid or remote position based out of our Denver, CO office or remotely in the US.

Technologies You'll Use

• Fivetran\'s data integration platform, deployment and connectivity methods, and automation / abstraction technologies for infrastructure creation and management
• Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform and related VPN and Interconnect technologies (IPSec, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute etc)
• Common cloud networking services (load balancers, firewalls, DNS etc)
• Common network monitoring utilities (netcat, traceroute, telnet, netstat, nslookup, tcp)
• Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF etc) and switching protocols (STP, VLAN etc)
• Container management software including Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman
• Bash scripting and UNIX / LINUX

Pay Range $171,363 — $214,204 USD. OTE (On Target Earnings) $214,203.75 — $267,755 USD.
