Postpartum experience.

Description : Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 14 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum rooms and 2 Operating Rooms.

Number of Staff : 60.

Type of Staff : Charge RNs, Labor and Delivery RNs, Postpartum RNs, and CNAs.

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 maximum for Labor and Delivery and 3 : 1 for Postpartum per guidelines.

Type of Equipment : Electronic Medical Record systems.

Typical Procedures Performed :

Versions, Cesarean sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and dilation and curettage.

Unit Guidelines / Policies :

Unit policies and guidelines will be provided during orientation.
